racho you're a star. here's a slighlty modified version, including graph last updated timestamp, and the template for the breakdown of sessions posted by someone else.

Has anyone tried this with 0.8.6g?Morgan wrote:racho you're a star. here's a slighlty modified version, including graph last updated timestamp, and the template for the breakdown of sessions posted by someone else.

This worked excellent for me. Now I'm wondering if anyone can help with a couple of routers we have (2611s) that have VPN modules. I'm not sure that I'm using snmpwalk correctly but its not providing me with an OID for use in tracking tunnels and sessions on this module - perhaps it's not possible?Morgan wrote:racho you're a star. here's a slighlty modified version, including graph last updated timestamp, and the template for the breakdown of sessions posted by someone else.
SNMPv2-SMI::mib-2.47.1.1.1.1.2.7 = STRING: "Virtual Private Network (VPN) Module"
and
SNMPv2-SMI::mib-2.47.1.1.1.1.3.8 = OID: SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.12.3.1.9.2.22
These are as close as it gets.
Possible to graph memory too?
First off, let me start by thanking the initial creator and the one who added to the awesome script. If i could do half of what you guys have done, then I would not be asking for a modification to the script which will allow memory resources to be graphed.
Okay, I've found this for tunnels:knobdy wrote:This worked excellent for me. Now I'm wondering if anyone can help with a couple of routers we have (2611s) that have VPN modules. http://tools.cisco.com/Support/SNMP/do/ ... 71.1.3.1.1
But if that's tunnels, what's the equivilent for sessions? I can't find anything more in the ipSec line...
Also, this OID provides a number way over what I would think it should. Right now its showing 58 tunnels, though we only have 20 some customers VPNing into that box? Thoughts, ideas??

Does anyone else have any issues monitoring the interfaces on the VPN 3030 Concentrator??? I have the following on the device page
1) SNMP - Interface Statistics (Verbose Query) Uptime Goes Backwards Success [0 Items, 0 Rows]
When click the green refresh circle it doesn't find any interfaces and when I do a Verbose Query I get the following output
+ Running data query [1].
+ Found type = '3' [snmp query].
+ Found data query XML file at '/usr/share/cacti/resource/snmp_queries/interface.xml'
+ XML file parsed ok.
+ Executing SNMP walk for list of indexes @ '.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1'
+ No SNMP data returned
+ Found data query XML file at '/usr/share/cacti/resource/snmp_queries/interface.xml'
+ Found data query XML file at '/usr/share/cacti/resource/snmp_queries/interface.xml'
+ Found data query XML file at '/usr/share/cacti/resource/snmp_queries/interface.xml'
My SNMP string is not wrong because I am polling sessions. What could be causing this??

Help! I urgently need the above template, HOWEVER, I'm not able to import it! I'm using 0.8.6i and usually get a message that it does not support "HASH"... if I copy and paste the above template (yes, I tried it, even knowing that the hash wouldn't be accepted!), I get "XML parse error"... Is there anyone out there who can either talk me through this, OR can export THEIR template so that I can try to import that instead??
I REALLY appreciate the help! I've tried to create my own, but I don't think it's working correctly!
Thanks!
