error in cacti.conf

Hi,

i ve got a issue when i a m restarting my apache server i m getting this error :

[root@ns2 /]# /etc/init.d/httpd restart
Stopping httpd: [FAILED]
Starting httpd: Syntax error on line 9 of /etc/httpd/conf.d/cacti.conf:
Invalid command 'php_flag', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration
[FAILED]

i m on CentOS release 5.8 (Final) and cacti version is cacti-0.8.8a-1.el5.rf.noarch

Seems like its more of a apache/php issue than a cacti issue.
Obviously it doesn't like the php_flag command in the cacti.conf file.
Google php_flag httpd.conf
That should point you to similar issues.

Hi Dan,

It was my suPhp that was blocking everything ... i ve removed it and now the apache starting and i can loging to the cacti but in the graph section i cant see any graph ? any idea ?

Thanks for the reply artagel ,

for the local host it should not show the graph like for the Memory Usage ? but i have just add a host but still the same not showing any graph ! and i have add Ping Latency to the host but showing the image but no information in it just image ...

Run poller in debug and show us the output of one poller cycle.

sorry artagel, it my first time installing cacti can you tell how to do that ? Run poller in debug !

Go to system settings and set the log level to debug.
Then wait for the poller to run and go to the log and show us what you got.

That's the weblog of the graphs being created. I don't need that.
You need to turn on debug, let it run for at least 5 minutes until the next poller cycle(if you have 5 min cycles), then provide that data.

Yes
So now go to System Utilities, and then view cacti log file. We'd like to see logs from the time the poller starts til it finishes.
