I'm playing around with Autom8 and after creating a new device, all graphs are created correctly but the tree item is not. Autom8 is supposed to create a new HOST tree item onto my tree. Instead, it creates some leaf that doesn't refer to anything.
I'm running cacti 0.8.8a, autom8 0.35, RHEL 5.8, PHP 5.1.6, mysql 5.0.95
It seems like my Tree rules are correct. Autom8 matches on my new device based on a host template and it finds the correct place in my graph tree to create the new leaf. When i look at the new leaf item in the console, cacti indicates that it's a HOST item. I can click on the host item and it take me to the device page. But in the graph view, it doesn't show any of the graphs and the HOST item is not expandable to show all the graph templates.
What am i doing wrong?
Thanks in advance,
James

You may use the DEBUG modes to display, whether the rule entered matches the wanted host.
And you may use the "Settings" for this plugins to enable logging of function calls to cacti.log. This will help debugging
