type_code value disapears after DS or DS-template save

My Cacti installed version = Version 0.8.8a

After a save to a data source or data source template (no major change done), the poller cache looses the host_id (type_code) actual host ID value.

Failed attemps to restore the value:
- re-save the actual data source
- disable/enable the data source
- rebuild poller cache

note: removed the script from the post as nit may not be safe to use.

This error is not yet known. Please open a bug report as given by http://cacti.net/bugs.php and add your script (which seems to be truncated).
