hello guys,

how are you measuring, visualizing EPS ( events per second) using cacti ? Just quick question, how this can be done..

but how.. how it is.. Which protocol it uses when I want to use scripts ? I mean, having remote servers the only way to get data from them is by snmp..

There are several different methods available; find a huge set in Script and Templates forum. But it's up to you to use e.g. http(e.g. wget, curl), telnet/ssh, SNMP script extensions, NFS/CIFS or whatever your target allows you to do

Yes, thats right. Just looking, if there is a query that can check what is the actual EPS in the syslog for example. I need to know /use it only using SNMP. Just scrolling pages in google.com ;)
