Hi all
I am trying to make a single graph containing these 8 values, retrieved by snmp:
# snmpwalk -v1 -c xxx 192.168.0.x .1.3.6.1.4.1.1916.1.27.1.2.1.14
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.1916.1.27.1.2.1.14.1 = Gauge32: 0
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.1916.1.27.1.2.1.14.2 = Gauge32: 12
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.1916.1.27.1.2.1.14.3 = Gauge32: 35
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.1916.1.27.1.2.1.14.4 = Gauge32: 29
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.1916.1.27.1.2.1.14.5 = Gauge32: 16
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.1916.1.27.1.2.1.14.6 = Gauge32: 0
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.1916.1.27.1.2.1.14.7 = Gauge32: 0
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.1916.1.27.1.2.1.14.8 = Gauge32: 7
All templates that i tried to create fail, it seems cacti only knows how to take values from keys ending with the same index value, or I am missing something.
I do not want to make 8 graphs, each with one of these values, which seems very easy to do with one snmp query xml. Instead, I want a single graph with all eight values.
Of course, I could write a shell script that provides the output, but I want to do it "the right way", using snmp data queries and not external tricks.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks

Did you read through http://docs.cacti.net/ yet for the guides on template creation?
