[solved] How to configure mail alert ?

I guys,

I need ton configure mail alert.
In Mail/DNS tab i see an error under Sendmail Path (/usr/sbin/sendmail [ERROR : FILE NOT FOUND])
This is a Linux path, where can i find path for Windows in cacti folder ? First, does it exist ?

I tried to Send a Test Email with PHP Mail() Function but i got this error :
Error : Unable to send email with php mail function, check your system logs

No say !

I tried to Send a Test Email with SMTP but follows this error :

ERROR: Unable to connect to SMTP Host 'smtp.(...).fr': (10061) Aucune connexion n'a pu être établie car l'ordinateur cible l'a expressément refusée ( some French in Cacti !!)

My question : Mail/DNS tab is it the only "place" to configure mail alert ?
Did I need to edit some conf file ?

SMTP is active, should I edit it ?

sendmail is a linux only tool, I believe.

phpmail and SMTP require additional configuration in php.ini and/or your smtp server for the correct settings.

Hi guys,

Problem solved !

McAfee prevents the use of the function for sending mail (PHP-CGI.exe).

I hope this will help someone.
