Hi all,
I have a problem with graphing traffic on a Cisco 7606 router, the setup is as follows;
We have Gigabit interfaces which we have done dot1q sub-interfaces to different locations, on the sub-interfaces where we have not done any Traffic Shaping the graphs are OK and we can see both the Inbound and Outbound traffic. However on the interfaces we have done traffic shaping we are only able to graph Inbound Traffic, see attached graph.
Also, the same setup was working very well on Cisco 7204 VXR routers before we upgraded to 7606 we have tried the graphing on both Cacti ver 0.8.7b and 0.8.6h.
I am currently going through Cacti 0.8 Beginner's Guide by Thomas Urban but i would appriciate a faster resolution.
Thanks in Advance.

Re: Cisco Interface Outbound Graphing
Well, both inbound and outbound are there. Only outbond is VERY much smaller, see the legend ...

Thank you for the reply.
I still require your assistance, the links we are graphing are doing much more traffic that is indicated for the Outbound, can it be a problem with how the data is collected?
I have attached more graphs as examples.

Re: Cisco Interface Outbound Graphing
Well, that depends on the interface being monitored. e.g. VLAN interface, trunk-ed interfaces, interfaces of virtual routers etc. We will report what SNMP tells us.
