IIS Connection Statistics display formatting problem

Post by Operations »

Hello,

You'll have to excuse the ignorance as this is post 1 for me as a Cacti Virgin

We are having trouble with the data display on IIS connection statistics charts,
The layout is all over the place so its hard to gauge which bits of data relate to what.
We have tried to reduce font sizes to no avail.

I have attached a chart as an example.
Sample from a web-server

Other chart types are all fine
Thanks in advance for any advice

You should check the "HR" checkbox were it comes in useful

You will have to hange the graph template that was used for that graph.
You may edit any of the graph template items.
There's a tiny little checkbox, called "HR", which will do a "carriage return/line feed" on the legend

Hi Gandalf that did the trick, we did also have to resize the graphs slightly from the defualt 120x500 to 144x600 (20% increase).
But it all looks great new.

Thanks again

Yep. You may want to remove _some_ of the HRs in case the legend gets too huge ... Just try; all graphs will be updated automatically when changing the template
