Simulate Cacti Graphs for testing purpose

Post by srinikalyan »

Hi all,
I want to simulate the graphs in the testing cacti instance similar to the production ones. Production cacti instance has connectivity to the network devices so graphs are configured and shown. We recieved the new requirement to customize and automate some graphs. For that in our desktop PC i downloaded cacti and installed but we dont have network devices to configure. Is it possible to copy the production data and install it in testing PC (static data to work on) by any means? We copied all the cacti database tables and imported into the testing PC but didn't worked?

Thanks,
Srinikalyan

Don't forget the rdd files. Depending on your setup they should be located in rra/
