Problems with "Web Basic Authentication"

I'm trying to change my Authentication Method from "Builtin Authentication" to "Web Basic Authentication".

This is what i'm doing:

My first step was to create a ".htaccess" File with Basic User Authentification. The user file contains the same usernames as within cacti.

If i reload now my Cacti URL i have to do a Apache-Webserver Authentification and additional the default Cacti Authentification.

After this i changed the Authentication Method within cacti from "Builtin Authentication" to "Web Basic Authentication".

If i reload now my Cacti-URL i get the following Error in my browser:

"Error: Access Denied, please contact you Cacti Administrator."


Could anybody help me with this problem?
