So I have something that is causing MySQL to max out and crash either MySQL or the machine it's on. I have been having to either reboot the machine every couple days or reboot and restore a backup of the cacti database.
I would like to just find out a way that I could find out exactly what was causing the issue. I have tried watching the machine but really can't catch what is causing the issue. Guess it could be a loop of some kind. I have included a screen shot of my graphs showing the rampup and crash of the MySQL server.
Anybody have any ideas? I guess I could just start killing graphs and/or data sources but would like to troubleshoot this to know more what is going on.

Shall I guess your MySQL version?
Tried the latest mysql version? Cacti 0.8.7i does with with the latest php 5.3.x and MySQL 5.5.x.

Re: Help with MySQL crashing every couple days
Yup running MySQL 5.5, Win 7, IIS7.
Attempted updating PHP but had an issue so had to roll it back till I can try again.

Re: Help with MySQL crashing every couple days
Have you reported the MySQL crash to the mysql bug tracker? Running the latest 5.5.x release?
with php 5.3.x, you no longer need the old-password setting in my.ini. In fact, you must remove it along with re-setting the mysql cactiuser password (just follow the cacti install docs again for those command lines).
