Hello,
I'm trying to monitor my vmware(vcenter) environment but getting snmp error.
I can't seem to get it working is there something I'm forgetting to do or missing?

Re: Monitoring Vmware 5.0
Sadly, VMware doesn't really support gathering stats by SNMP.
The vCenter Server settings window you showed will only send SNMP Traps to the IP listed with the community name listed.
As a result, you can't add a 'vCenter' device to monitor anything. Not in the way you're trying to do anyway.
That said, it would be possible with much pain, effort and sweat (ie, knowing Perl) to collect things from vCenter.
