User management

Post by dalberto »

Hello all

I need to create a user to view only one host in a tree.
Create the user is simple, the problem is to do it just to see host this within the tree.
Does anyone know how I do it?
I appreciate the help.

Go to the user management and select the user.

On the Graph Permissions within the section "Graph Permissions (By Device)" set the following:

Default Policy
-> Deny

The default allow/deny graph policy for this user.
-> The host which the user should be able to see.

Or:

Do the same for the tree. ( Default policy -> tree, and add the tree which the user should be able to see )
Greetings,

Thanks for the replies but it did not work.

I have a tree called customer and within this tree have several hosts.
I need the user to view only one of the hosts.

Ex.:

-Tree Customer
-- Host1
--- graphs

-- Host2
--- graphs

-- Host3
--- graphs

I need the user to view the host 1 only.

Thanks again

Then use the combination of the above 2 methods, "Graph Permissions (By Device)" and "Tree Permissions".
