lighttpd & cacti error (perhaps the fastcgi process died)

Post by sash99 »

Hi there I was wondering if any might recognize this error. I am trying to install cacti on pfsense box. I believe I have all the require dependencies installed But I seem to get this error when trying to load the cacti

2012-03-16 10:04:20: (mod_fastcgi.c.2566) unexpected end-of-file (perhaps the fastcgi process died): pid: 26457 socket: unix:/tmp/php5-fastcgi.socket-0

Update; working now by following error
the error is now It seems my snmpd deamon was not running
renamed snmpd to snmpd.sh and edited inside the file to enable snmpd

then I needed to import cacti.sql
mysql --password -D cacti < /usr/local/vhosts/cacti/cacti.sql

and install php52 - sockets

and now I get the login screen asking for a password..

thank you for your time
