Greetings all,
We are Using cacti 8.7h on Linux
CentOS release 5.7 (Final)
My high level description. during "graph export" currently set to Class (local path), Tree presentation, multiple tree representation, admin as the effective user name and expand tree hosts is set to OFF. I find only the basic drawing image files (e.g., hierarchical connectors, lines, etc.) and lots of HTML files. But - in all cases, and no matter which options I select for export method and tree settings, I do not get any graphs in the graph directories.
For example, I have created this tree structure:
drwxr-xr-x 9 cacti cacti 4096 Mar 13 12:05 cacti-graphs
[root@L2NMS02 cacti]# pwd
/home/cacti
[root@L2NMS02 cacti]#
and cacti has full access then,
[root@L2NMS02 cacti-graphs]# ls -l
total 28
drwxr-xr-x 4 cacti cacti 4096 Mar 13 12:05 Site1
drwxr-xr-x 4 cacti cacti 4096 Mar 13 12:05 Site2
drwxr-xr-x 4 cacti cacti 4096 Mar 13 12:05 Site3
drwxr-xr-x 4 cacti cacti 4096 Mar 13 12:05 Site4
drwxr-xr-x 4 cacti cacti 4096 Mar 13 12:05 Summary_bandwidth
drwxr-xr-x 4 cacti cacti 4096 Mar 13 12:05 Summary__VPN1_Users
drwxr-xr-x 4 cacti cacti 4096 Mar 13 12:05 Summary__VPN2_Users
But digging deeper in the tree:
rw-r--r-- 1 cacti cacti 4045 Mar 13 12:05 graph_120.html
-rw-r--r-- 1 cacti cacti 4045 Mar 13 12:05 graph_121.html

drwxr-xr-x 2 cacti cacti 4096 Mar 13 12:05 treeview
and a look into the graphs folder - empty!
drwxr-xr-x 2 cacti cacti 4096 Mar 13 12:05 graphs
I am now creating these (invisible) graphs every 5 minutes.
Runtime to create the graphs is 4 seconds.
Export path is local. and status is [OK: DIR FOUND]
As for errors in the /var/www/cacti/log/cacti.log

Any ideas what I should pursue to further troubleshoot?
Best Regards, Phil
Unable to graph export properly - html only - no graphs

Re: Unable to graph export properly - html only - no graphs
I should also mention that all the normal graphing (non-reporting) functions are working perfectly. e.g., 5 minute, hourly, weekly, etc. graphs work perfectly.
Thanks again, Phil

Re: Unable to graph export properly - html only - no graphs
Change "Poller Logging Level" to HIGH (or above) and delete all existing exported files in cacti-graphs/ directory, then watch your cacti.log.
If you can see the line "EXPORT Creating Graph 'xxx.png'" but still have problems,
try removing all leading '@' of "@rrdtool_function_graph(...)" in 'lib/graph_export.php' then watch PHP error log.
