The RRD File does not exist

Post by Tud »

Hi All, I'm after some help with the above message, I am new to cacti, I will post as much info as possible

I am using Cacti EZ - upgraded to Cacti 0.8.7i

I installed the box off the CD, then followed the upgrade process found on the net to get the cacti upto 0.8.7i

I am getting the above error when i add a new host and try to create graphs - the built in graphs for localhost seem ok though

I can snmpwalk the oid's from the device I am polling using the cacti box ok, so snmp response is not an issue

during my research there is allot of reference to the 'cactiuser' for linux permissions etc, in Cacti EZ what account is 'cactiuser'? I can't seem to find this anywhere on the net and there is no user called cactiuser
I need to set permission on the rra folder though, I have added root and apache, wasn't sure what esle todo

I am also getting in my logs every min:
POLLER: Poller[0] WARNING: Cron is out of sync with the Poller Interval! The Poller Interval is '300' seconds, with a maximum of a '300' second Cron, but 59 seconds have passed since the last poll!

Poller interval is 5 mins
Cron interval is 1 min
using spine

Crontab for poller.php is set to 1 min (checked this in the CLI - is this setting controlled by the web or separate?)

OK, any help to point me where to go next would be much appreciated

Cheers
