howto create script for Alvarion Breezemax Extreme 5000

Post by pilot1981 »

Hi,
I'm trying to create a script to collect snmp trap related to CPE connected ia radio to my BTS.

The situationi is this:
- I have 3 BTS to obtain a 360 coverage;
- CPE could re-connect to different BTS depending on their position;
- CPE don't send snmp trap, the snmp trap related to CPE must be derived only from BTS;

So, my problem is to connect the right graph to the right CPE!

To identify CPE I can use ip address as in this example:

#snmpwalk -c public -v1 172.16.0.11 .1.3.6.1.4.1.12394.1.30.1.80.1.1.3
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.12394.1.30.1.80.1.1.3.0.16.231.65.220.190 = IpAddress: 172.16.1.31
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.12394.1.30.1.80.1.1.3.0.16.231.65.220.196 = IpAddress: 172.16.1.41
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.12394.1.30.1.80.1.1.3.0.16.231.65.220.218 = IpAddress: 172.16.1.37
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.12394.1.30.1.80.1.1.3.0.16.231.65.220.248 = IpAddress: 172.16.1.28
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.12394.1.30.1.80.1.1.3.0.16.231.65.221.14 = IpAddress: 172.16.1.51
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.12394.1.30.1.80.1.1.3.0.16.231.65.221.20 = IpAddress: 172.16.1.38

*you can see last number (190, 196, 218, 248, 14, 20) that BTS assign random to the cpe every time cpe connect to a bts.

or I can use wireless mac address that you can find in this legend:

.1.3.6.1.4.1.12394.1.30.300.20.1.1

then add this:

1 -> pmMsMacAddress
2 -> pmMsUlRssi
3 -> pmMsDlRssi
4 -> pmMsUlCinr
5 -> pmMsDlCinr
6 -> pmMsUlRate
7 -> pmMsDlRate
8 -> pmMsUlTotalTransferredBytes
9 -> pmMsDlTotalTransferredBytes
10 -> pmMsUlTotalTransferredPackets
11 -> pmMsDlTotalTransferredPackets
12 -> pmMsUlTotalLostPackets
13 -> pmMsDlTotalLostPackets
14 -> pmMsUlTotalTransferredBursts
15 -> pmMsDlTotalTransferredBursts
16 -> pmMsUlHarqAckNumbers
17 -> pmMsDlHarqAckNumbers
18 -> pmMsUlHarqNackNumbers
19 -> pmMsDlHarqNackNumbers
20 -> pmMsUlHarqDropBursts
21 -> pmMsDlMimoKind
22 -> pmMsDlTotalLostPackets
50 -> pmMsResetCounters

now I report an snmpwalk to explain better my situation:

I don't understand what you want fully, but in this kind of situation, SNMP query XML may be like this form:

Code: Select all

<interface>
	<name>Sample Query</name>
	<description>Sample Query</description>
	<oid_index>.1.3.6.1.4.1.12394.1.30.1.80.1.1.3</oid_index>
	<oid_index_parse>OID/REGEXP:.*\.([0-9]+\.[0-9]+\.[0-9]+\.[0-9]+\.[0-9]+\.[0-9]+)$</oid_index_parse>
	<index_order>ipAddress</index_order>
	<index_order_type>numeric</index_order_type>

(It appears to overlap the name: pmMsDlTotalLostPackets)

Then you should create Data Query, Data Template, and Graph Template.
