Spine 0.8.7i on Cent OS 6.2, cannot ./configure

Post by juerg »

Hi Community
I just installed Cacti 0.8.7i (upgrade from 0.8.7d) on my virtual CentOS 6.2 x64. So far all's just fine, I have all the data in the new installation. I'd like to install Spine. After extracting, ./configure won't work. I get the following :

[nms cacti-spine-0.8.7i]# ./configure
checking build system type... Invalid configuration `x86_64-unknown-linux-': machine `x86_64-unknown-linux' not recognized
configure: error: /bin/sh config/config.sub x86_64-unknown-linux- failed

Thanks for any help, I'll appreciate

I fixed mine by running bootstrap. Thanks!

Also to run bootstrap, I installed these packages:
autoconf
dos2unix
automake
libtool

I also wrote it to my blog http://alexzeng.wordpress.com/2012/12/2 ... for-cacti/

Regards
Alex
