I would like to ask question for Current value in Thold plugin.
I am monitoring 64 bit counter (IfHCinOctets) in thold plugin.
But the values shown in Current Value is not matching the Current value
in the graph.
Has anyone experienced this situation?
Thanks,
Yu

Re: Thold plugin unstable?
Examples?
And also keep in mind that your traffic graph is also probably set to "AVERAGE" the last 2 value instead of showing the LAST.

Re: Thold plugin unstable?
Thank you for the reply.
I am sorry that I did not post any examples.
And yes , the situation that I faced was the nature of the rrd.
The story was the following,
Time of the polling Value shown in Threshold tab
20:04 5
20:09 10
20:14 28
So, when I browsed the cacti at 20:14,
The the threshold tab showed 28, but the Current value of corresponding graph showed
around 12. I had forgotten about the nature of rrd at that time. The value of the graph
was the time between the 20:05 - 20:10. And the value is consisting majority of
"10" and minority of "28", which will add up as around 12.
This was the situation I had seen.
Thanks,
Yu
