No Traffic graph from Cisco 3500

Post by bif »

Hello,
My cisco switchs (3500) don't send datas to Cacti to display a traffic graph from a gigabit interface.
Here is the RRD Tool error message :

"Notice: Undefined variable: regexps in C:\apache\Apache2\htdocs\cacti\lib\rrd.php on line 308

Notice: Undefined variable: fetch_array in C:\apache\Apache2\htdocs\cacti\lib\rrd.php on line 323
ERROR: no rrdtool fetch output, you probably forgot to pass a valid data source
Notice: Undefined variable: regexps in C:\apache\Apache2\htdocs\cacti\lib\rrd.php on line 308

Notice: Undefined variable: fetch_array in C:\apache\Apache2\htdocs\cacti\lib\rrd.php on line 323
ERROR: no rrdtool fetch output, you probably forgot to pass a valid data sourceERROR: opening 'C:\apache\Apache2\htdocs\cacti/rra/reibcd1_traffic_in_120.rrd': No such file or directory"

Can anyone help me ?
Thanks a lot.

Is it only the graphs on this host that don't work? Is it only some specific set of graphs on this host that don't work?

Are you using 95 percentile graphs?

For this host, the CPU Usage graph is working very well but not the Traffic graph.

What do you call 95 percentile graphs ?

I don't use 95th percentile graphs, i use :
Interface - Traffic (bytes/sec, Total Bandwidth)

Thanx

Those patches seem to work with Unix/Linux systems, and i use a Windows 2k server ....
Does anyone knows this problem ?

Look at the bottom, Rax has posted a pre-patched rrd.php file. Download this and try replacing your file. (I use linux, so I actually don't know if this will work, but it seems to be the logical thing to do)

You might have to re-create the graphs once you have patched the file. I'm not sure, I am just suggesting it as something to try.
