BPG template instillation error.

Post by linux83 »

Hi all,

i'm trying to install BGP template to monitor our global internet links peering.
when trying to import the template i'm getting this error:

Error: XML parse error.

i go through instillation steps:

cacti_ebgp_ibgp.xml
Import this file using the cacti web interface

ebgp_ibgp.xml
Copy this file to the $cacti_home/resource/snmp_queries/ directory

Cacti version is Version 0.8.7h.

i got this template from direct cacti.net link:

http://docs.cacti.net/usertemplate:grap ... _neighbors

any help please.

Please reference the first link in my signature as it pertains to the importation of templates and more specifically 'Data Queries'.

I had the same issue and figured it out.

When I saved the files from crunchtools site, you CAN NOT right click and save as. You are actually saving the HTML content of the page you are on. If you open the files up individually on their site, you can copy the content inside and paste into your own .xml file and save it.
