Juniper vlan interface problem .

Post by sun4o »

Hello to all .

I’v got a strange problem, that cant resolve by my self . Cacti version is 0.8.7g . The problem is whit Juniper devices that I’m monitoring and whit logical interfaces, that they have (VLANS) . I’m using SNMP - Interface Statistics data query. On some of devices , graphics for vlan interfaces are OK, but on other is not. On problematic devices only physical interfaces are measured . The vlan interfaces are recognized by Cacti, placed on graph tree and so on, but actual amount of traffic that pass through that interfaces is not real, just some bits . Can someone help on that ? Thank You in advice .

Sounds like a firmware or configuration issue IMHO.

Unfortunately, I cant change current firmware right now. Do you mean configuration on Cacti , or configuration on Juniper devices ? All devices are with identical configuration. Also with same host template. They are SRX if that does matter .
