Thold and Weathermap is trouble

I have 0.4.7 of thold and have tried both the latest weathermap plugin 0.97a and 0.98dev and when thold is enabled the weathermaps do not get created at poll intervals. If you run the rebuild script for weathermap manually it works fine, but if you let the poller run it, the maps never get updated. I found that if I simply disable the thold plugin in plugin management, the maps get created again. I will investigate more tomorrow, but would like help if anyone has figured this out already.
