Boost - force RRD update?

Hi,

Is there a way to force boost to update RRD files instead of at the defined interval so that we can get up to the minute graphs in case of an emergency, as an example?

Two options if you are planning on restarting mysql:

Code: Select all

mysql -e "alter table poller_output_boost engine=myisam" cacti

and after the server is restarted

Code: Select all

mysql -e "alter table poller_output_boost engine=memory" cacti

Or do the following as the poller user:

cd <path_cacti>/plugins/boost
php -q poller_boost.php --force

Thanks TheWitness, those are helpful. Is there any way to trigger an update from the Cacti web UI though? If it doesn't exist currently, can you think of the best way to accomplish adding that?
