Relative Cacti noob - sorry if this is remedial

We are a predominantly windows house that uses cacti to monitor several functions of our servers. Recently I asked one of my Techs to add our Shared servers to Cacti so we could monitor bandwidth etc. However he informed me that he was not able to do do because each server has several IP's bound to their NICs and that SNMP is only discoverable on the lowest IP address in those bindings. This would be fine but that seems to result in only seeing traffic that is related to the site(s) that are bound to that IP. Is there a way to get Cacti to acknowledge SNMP from a specified IP on a multi-homed NIC?
