SNMP Data (Indexed) Juniper BGP Prefix

Post by sukanta »

Hi,
Sharing my Juniper BGP Prefix SNMP Data (Indexed) Template which is much faster than Script Query..The Only Limitation is that This will show only Index during graph creation..For Peer IP you have to go to Verbose query & need to put the description/graph title manually.Hope this compromise can be done for speed....

Any suggestion always welcome...

This is my first template sharing with this forum......

Steps:
1) Import the Data Query template : This contains both Data & Graph template
2) Upload the juniper_bgp_prefix.xml to your /cacti/resource/snmp_queries/ directory.

Not Able to upload Graph template separately due to following error...Moderator pl check...

The upload was rejected because the uploaded file was identified as a possible attack vector.

========
Updated new template with Peer address included.

I updated this template to use the peer IP as the index, and include that peer IP in the graph name when the graph is created.

same installation directions as above

edit: this version doesn't seem to pull the data properly, trying to determine why...

Hello,

this one works. You can pick a single peer by its remote IPv4 or IPv6 address.

Have fun!

Hello,

Could you please provide step by step instruction of importing this query to cacti?

I've imported data query, but not sure what to do with cacti_graph_template_juniper_bgp_prefix_stats.xml.
And how specify ip addresses of bgp peers?

Thank you in advance,

Zara
