Cacti graphs and rrd files only show up to 2 or 2.5 days?

Hi there,

I am pretty new to Cacti and I have setup a few charts. The first few charts are working fine...however, the other charts that I setup now, most of them only show graphs up to 2 or 2.5 days. I have checked the rrd files and they are only updated up to the most recent 2 days / 2.5days data where the previous days (in graph and rrd) will be deleted automatically? or missing? i cannot find them in the rrd files.


Anythin that I have done wrong? I have setup the rrd with the following rra setup (default I guess?)

Please advise why my graphs and rrd files are only storing the most recent 2 or 2.5 days data?

Here is default RRA settings:

Daily (5 Minute Average) 1 600 86400
Daily (1 Hour Average) 1 720 86400

That means..
5min * 1step * 600rows = 3000min = 2.08days
5min * 1step * 720rows = 3600min = 2.5days

Please increase its rows if you want to store data in 5min resolution for more longer periods.
(and re-create datasources and graphs)

NOTE: Roughly speaking, timespan is regarding to width of graph. No need to change for this case.

I just dont understand why some of my graphs are working with the current rra setup. They already have stats up for 4 weeks without issue. Only the newly created ones are having issues...

If you changed RRA or Data Template, it affects newly created datasources.
Existing datasouces (=RRD files) are not changed.

Please check whether "Associated RRA's" are selected properly in your data template.
