95th Percentile incorrect calculation

Post by felix1212 »

We are hitting an issue on 95th Percentile calculation. Our problem is that we are getting a value of 95th Percentile larger than the maximum bandwidth. We then tried to adjust the value from |95:bits:0:total:2| to |95:bits:0:max:2|(We had been using "total" for years already, but this problem just popped out all at a sudden), and this helps.

However, if we add new graphs, we hit another issue of getting a 0 mbits of 95th Percentile result, which is apparently incorrect. We checked out forums and seems like people had this issue before.

http://forums.cacti.net/about9610.html

It mentioned there's a patch, but we couldn't find. We are using version 0.8.7e already. This is so frustrating. Can somebody give us a help?

Thank you very very much.
