Cannot view localhost/cacti

I cannot view <<localhost>>/cacti. Request times out. Receive the same result when attempting just http://<<localhost>> I ensured httpd and apachectl are running.

Installed Cacti 0.8.7g on Cent OS 6.0 per these instructions: http://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/fedora-rhe ... -software/

I think the first thing you should do is get Apache running.

are you certain that httpd is running?
