nagios notification option in cacti thold plugin

Hello,

I need the help on cacti plugin's thold.

I installed cacti-0.8.7g with plugin architecure 2.9.
My requirement was to send an email alerts through nagios notification option.
I have tried thold-0.4.4 and 0.4.2, but i could not get this option.

I recently went through a below article.

I want to know how i would get the patch for my above mentioned thold and what version of thold can work with cacti-0.8.7g with plugin architecure 2.9.


kindly help me to setup this feature in cacti.
on most of the forums i get the help for patching thold plugin in and i did so but received lot of errors.

please help me to get through it.
