Hello.
I have a file, updated once a day, with this format
01/07/2011 16:00<TAB>5
01/07/2011 16:10<TAB>10
01/07/2011 16:20<TAB>23
01/07/2011 16:30<TAB>44
01/07/2011 16:40<TAB>44
01/07/2011 16:50<TAB>43
01/07/2011 17:00<TAB>22
I'd like to import this in Cacti, so that I can create a graph with the column 2 value (column 1 is a date).
How can I import it? I tried to have a look to the docs, but I was not able to understand if this is possible.
Could you help me pointing me in the right direction?
thanks
cips

Re: Help importing data
Cacti normally does the polling of data on it's own.
But you may update your custom rrd files, e.g. with a script that reads your data. Then, please feed the updated rrd file to cacti. See "documentation" tab at top of this page to find the chapter on "using externally updated rrd files"
