I wonder how I can be monitoring the consumption of their Internet link using Cacti?
Ex: To find out how much of my internet bandwidth is being consumed during work hours.

Sure. There's a bandwidth graph template for network traffic.
And you may use the REPORTIT plugin in case you prefer tabular reports

Good but I wonder how I can be setting up cacti to run this process?
Because my Internet links behind a firewall is like to know if I have to monitor the IP of the firewall or IP Internet links?
If possible could you send me the procedure for making these settings being.

Re: Monitoring the consumption of internet traffic
Hi,
Have you installed Cacti yet on a server? That should be your first step.
Are you also the firewall administrator? You should setup Cacti to poll the IP addresses of your Internet links. If it does not produce results, you can check your firewall logs for any denies of SNMP requests.
I have Cacti graphing my Internet links. I also have a firewall between my Internet routers and the Cacti server.
Cacti is based on SNMP polling. I created a rule to allow SNMP between the Cacti server IP and my Internet router's Ethernet interface IP address.
Hope this helps.

friend,
I managed to configure Cacti to monitor my internet link, I just enable snmp service on my links in Internet firewall after I perform this procedure worked properly.
Thanks,
I'm from Brazil, I wonder if you have skype address?
