dropdown lists in SNMP query data templates

Post by Skinkie »

I've tried to add a dropdown like list using the Script/Command option in Data Input Methods, this allows me to get an output type. What I would like to have is the ability to have custom input, with a dropdown list.

Could such feature be implemented?

Use case:
Select a specific part of an OID. In combination with a field that doesn't change for the user. That field will be: .1.2.3.4.|oid_part|.5

So you want to specify the variable part of the input field each time a new data source is defined?
How would that variable part be determined? Did you see Data Queries as a possible solution for this problem?
