Off Topic question:
How are you liking Aruba? We are using Cisco Wifi at the moment but seriously considering Aruba for the next upgrade.
thanks,
Eric

Re: Aruba Wireless Controllers... (Includes Netgear WFS709TP
We have a small Aruba environment with a Mobility Controller model 2400, 20 access point AP-70 and now we are going to buy 25 AP-105 and 3 RAP5-WN for remote office branch.
All the system is controlled trough AirWave.
I have no other experience in WIFI environment so I don't know wich feature are better than Cisco and vice versa.
The system works well except some problem with the AP-70 (reset configuration and now we are investigate about this issue) but the AirWave management platform is really impressive.

Re: Aruba Wireless Controllers... (Includes Netgear WFS709TP
Awesome, thanks. We are looking at a few of the 6000 controllers fully loaded and upwards of 200 APs. We a have a very high density environment and have to contend with spectrum saturation in 2.4. Thus I was curious how well Aruba radios work.smlick wrote:We have a small Aruba environment with a Mobility Controller model 2400, 20 access point AP-70 and now we are going to buy 25 AP-105 and 3 RAP5-WN for remote office branch.

When I tried to import the template I get: "Error: XML: Hash version does not exist."
Any idea?

Re: Aruba Wireless Controllers... (Includes Netgear WFS709TP
I read that is a possible issue with the Cacti version in export/import :"Cacti supports importing templates exported with an older version into a newer version, but not the reverse."
Hamish which version of cacti have exported the template?

Re: Aruba Wireless Controllers... (Includes Netgear WFS709TP
I get the same hash error when I try to import the aruba template. Any ideas?
Re: Aruba Wireless Controllers... (Includes Netgear WFS709TP
Replace 'hash_**0021' with your version in the host template. (Probably it was exported from Cacti 0.8.7g)
- How to determine a Cacti template version - Cacti Docs
In so far as this template, simply you may replace '0021' with 'XXXX' by text editor. There is no '0021' except hash code in that file.

Re: Aruba Wireless Controllers... (Includes Netgear WFS709TP
I couldn't import the templates either. No error message, no nothing. I'm running Cacti 0.8.7h. If anyone has a solution that'd be great.
Re: Aruba Wireless Controllers... (Includes Netgear WFS709TP
I was having the same issue as others...trying to import the host template and getting now output from the import form.
I believe there are two stray lines in the posted files. They are:
one lines 3431 and 3432 of the host template xml file. Removing these allowed me to import the template (using cacti 0.87i).
Good luck.
