CactiEZ not reading windows disk space

Post by sniper »

Ok so I have have Cacti Version 0.8.7c install and running for a few weeks. I have loaded several cisco devices and it all works great. One issue I am having is I am doing some testing to try and read disk space usage on a windows 7 box. Be low is what I get after adding the device and then trying to add a graph from the device view.

I click on the device and this is what I get:

1) Host MIB - Available Disk Space Is Being Graphed (Edit)

1) SNMP - Get Mounted Partitions (Verbose Query) Uptime Goes Backwards Success [0 Items, 0 Rows]

Data Query Debug Information

+ Running data query [8].
+ Found type = '6 '[script query].

Did you intend to use SNMP V3?

I can would use any version at this point.....right ow it is v2c. But still will not find a partition. Anyother NMS system will find them, Whats up gold, PRTG Traffic grapher, just not Cactt. Seems like I am not the only one with this issue, but I can not find anyone that solved it......?

anyhelp would be great

thanks

The standard approach would be to increase the timeout from 500 ms to e.g. 1000 ms.
Windows SNMP is waay slow.
