How to set up graphs with longer polling interval (30 mins)?

Hi,

I want to graph some data which should only be polled every 30 minutes or 24 hours. Therefore I have changed the steps and heartbeat in corresponding data templates to 1800 / 3600 and 86400 / 172800. As far as I understand, the default RRA's should fit in this stepping. I can see that RRD file is updated only every 30 minutes but there is no data being graphed (on existing graphs and even new created graphs). It is working when I poll data every 5 minutes. Since there are no error messages I am a bit lost know. Anybody with an idea what is wrong?

Sorry, after some hours it started to graph the values finally. I am so impatient....
