Format Cacti Page Titles - formattitle plugin

Post by matej_v »

This is a tiny plugin that will change the look of Cacti page titles in your browser.

Features
  • Reverse the order of "breadcrumbs" of navigation text. This is esspecialy usefull if you have a lot of browser tabs open with different graphs.
  • Select a different hierarchy separator from the default ' -> '.
You can for example turn this page title:

Code: Select all

Graphs -> Tree Mode -> localhost - Logged in Users
to this:

Code: Select all

localhost - Logged in Users | Tree Mode | Graphs
Tested only with Cacti 0.8.7g and PA 2.9.

A big thanks to Jean-Michel Pepin for his plgexample - example plugin. It took me less than half an hour to get the thing together. Hopefully some one else will find this useful.

It is useful for bookmarking.
Internet Explorer strips special characters from title when adding favorites. With this plugin, I can replace it beforehand.

Good plugin. I wish this were implemented in Cacti itself...
