Multiple data sources on same graph?

Post by LondonDragon »

Hi guys,

I had a quick search around and could not find it, is there a way to combine various data sources into a single graph?

Reason I ask is that we have switches with 2 or 4 up-links and I would like to combine all the data ports into a single graph, rather than have 2 or 4 individual graphs and trying to add everything together to get the final overview.

Are there templates for this already?

Many thanks

You will have to construct an aggregate graph from the data sources you would like to see on the same graph. Either you can do this manually or use the Aggregate Plugin.

Many thanks, I am new to cacti, I am running Version 0.8.7c, cannot see the Plugin Manager=ment to install the plugins, how would I go about doing this manually? Cheers

You may then use the "old" method of tweaking include/config.php (or was it include/global.php these days???).
I recommend upgrading nevertheless, because of bug fixes, features and a better plugin handling of newer versions
