Hi all,
I'd like to know how to import some hosts from another Cacti instance to my main instance while keeping old data.
I need to consolidate on one server.
I tried to import the rrd files from the other host using http://docs.cacti.net/manual:087:8_rrdt ... ernal_rrds as a guide but I dont want to create specific templates.
Thanks in advance for any pointer/help/whatever

Re: Migrating devices, hosts, rrd files from another Cacti h
There is no easy answer to this question.
The way to do this, without coding something, is to create the devices in question on the target Cacti installation.
Then you can pick and choose the RRDtool files to copy to the new data source names. This is a complicated task and pron to error.
