Move Cacti from Linux to Windows

Hi

I've inherited an old cacti innstallation on a Linux machine - and i want to move this to a new windows2008 server.

I've installed Cacti 0.8.7g on the new windows host (windows2008), this is a clean install for now (i've got it up and working - everything checks out ok).

But i want to move the graph-tree and devices from the old Linux installation 0.8.6j - (i don't need the historical data)

How do i proceed with this 'migration'? Any ideas or suggestions?

mysqldump the old db and restore it on the new system. Logging in will proceed with all required db updates. If no rrd files are found, cacti will create them on next poller's run

On my old linux server i have roughly 4800 data sources (on 675 devices).

Is my windows server up for the job :

Hw: Win2008 64bit, 8Gig RAM, Xeon 2.93GHz CPU, 60Gig HD (running on VM-Ware
Polling method: use of poller.php (running apache web-server)

Im going to test mysqldump today, will post back later with results.
