95th percentile and Total bandwidth for 64 bits counters

Post by Bruno Prigent »

Hi,

I noticed that 95th percentile and Total bandwidth are ony available for 32 bits counters. Most of my switches are Gigabits and I need to poll 64 bits counters for the graph to be correct. Is there any plan to add 95th percentile and Total bandwidth for 64 bits counters ?

You should be able to modify the existing Cacti configuration to create this graph and then export and post the modified Graph and Data Templates to the "Scripts and Addons" section of this forum for others to use without a problem.

I dont even know where to start... I'd assume id have to add a new data source, but I dont even see 64 bit counters anywhere but on the new graphs page. I dont see any data sources for 64 bit counters..

I'm lost :(

Also could you explain what you changed to do that? I can't find that stuff.

It is very close to total bandwidth. I can provide that one as well.

Hey Witness.. When you get to creating the 64 bit counter total bandwidth could you put together a quick tutorial on how you did it? Then I'll never ask again :)

Thanks for all your hard work! Your work is making my bosses very happy, and its much apprieciated.
