Instead of having to do a manual rescan (device->reload data query) of the indexes to recognize a index change (re-indexing) and trigger autom8 to create graph,
I would like to see a automatism which detects index changes (by change of numbers of returned items (easiest and fastes way), name changes or counter discontinuity)
and creates new datasource and graphs depending on the graph templates associated to the host and stops/removes polling entries for indexes (instances)
whiche are no longer available.

Re: Autom8 Feature Request
BTW: Is it normal that it takes abaout 5 minutes per host to "apply autm8 rules"?

Re: Autom8 Feature Request
We will enhance this with upcoming 087h (Index count change will work in almost any variety of SNMP, Script, Script Server). And this will then trigger AUTOM8, so all should be fineDeviloper wrote:Instead of having to do a manual rescan (device->reload data query) of the indexes to recognize a index change (re-indexing) and trigger autom8 to create graph,
