No Trigger email after 0.4.2 to 0.4.3 upgrade
I am running Cacti 0.8.7g on RHEL 5.
I was running thold 0.4.2 for a few weeks and had it setup and running fine.
I upgraded it to 0.4.3 and everything worked fine except the triggered emails. I wasn't getting any. I was still able to send a test email from Mail/DNS settings and my user account still had the correct email address configured.
I installed 0.4.2 back into the plugins directory and I'm now receiving triggered emails once again.
Any known issues with this? Anything I can check/look for?

Just to add...
While on 0.4.3 I wasn't getting any logs for breaches/changes even though they were still configured in settings. I'm now getting them again in 0.4.2. Also on 0.4.3, all of the correct MySQL tables were there.

I'm having the same problem. Anybody find a solution yet?
Re: No Trigger email after 0.4.2 to 0.4.3 upgrade
I'm still on 0.4.2. I just cloned my cacti VM so I can the upgrade again without killing my production box. If I make any progress I'll be sure to fill you in.

I am not 100% sure on the PIA version at this moment. When I get into work tomorrow I'll check. I'm copying my production box over to my test box so I can test this as well.
Will keep you guys posted.

Re: No Trigger email after 0.4.2 to 0.4.3 upgrade
I cloned my production RHEL box running cacti to another VM. I then had to wipe out the cacti dir and the mysql DB's on it because I was testing other items and messed it up. I brought over the cacti directory and the mysql DB's from the production server and got the clone back up and running.
For some reason, i was able to upgrade to thold 0.4.3 without any issues. I am receiving emails from it no problem now. I do not want to upgrade my production box just yet and some higher-ups are also receiving the emails. If I break it on them now I'll be working some late nights to get it back.
I am trying to reproduce my issue on my test box of going to thold 0.4.3 and it not working, but so far no luck.

Re: No Trigger email after 0.4.2 to 0.4.3 upgrade
i make updates from time to time to my machine
when i have more time ,because not always work like a charm
any way ,before make any update make a backup , when uninstall plugins
it possible to loss data from database (configuration and devices added to plugin database), so make a backup to yours data base
after reinstall new plugin put the data back
but first , rare , but happen, from version let say 1.xx to 2.xx
they also change the configuration of the database
good luck
