Can WeatherMap Show Ip & Mac Address?
I want to know if Mactracker can display these data (ip & mac-address) with the overlib. is this possible?

Do you mean weathermap, or mac tracker?
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

Re: Can WeatherMap Show Ip & Mac Address?
What I mean is that we want to display as weathermap labels for some links the mac and ip addresses connected.
This is just for interfaces (links) connected to one host (obviously).
Our idea is to automate the text on the label via mactrack (which we have up and running).
So In resume, our idea is to gather device interface-mac address and ip address, via mactrack, and show that on weathermap´s labels.

OK - you can't currently have multi-line labels in weathermap, so the answer is no. You would have to write a weathermap datasource plugin to read the data also, even if you could display it.ncados wrote:What I mean is that we want to display as weathermap labels for some links the mac and ip addresses connected.

If there's some sort of info page in mactrack for a given interface (I don't use mactrack), then the NOTES keyword in Weathermap might help with having a popup box for that info.

Re: Can WeatherMap Show Ip & Mac Address?
Thanks for the quick answer.
We don´t need multiline labels. What we're doing is add a second node, with just a label, so the idea is to put here at least one address. (We can add more than one for that matter).
We also think about your second option, but haven't found anything yet.
Our config is a "main node" , the switch and various nodes around it (the clients). The idea is to associate to those extra nodes, which are just labels, to show that info (mac and ip addresses), and to update that info when a client is connected, or changes its port.
