CACTI plugins freebsd

I have been using cacti vffor sometimes now, however i want to do aggregate for my 52port switch. I downloaded latest plugins architecture (cacti-plugin-0.8.7g-PA-v2.8.tar.gz). I used this tutorial http://openmaniak.com/cacti_plugins.php. I followed up to the point patch -p1 -N <cacti-plugin-0.8.7g-PA-v2.8.diff where I received the following error;
Patching file images/disable_icon.png using Plan A...
patch: **** malformed patch at line 384: diff -Naur cacti-0.8.7g-old/images/enable_icon_disabled.png cacti-0.8.7g/images/enable_icon_disabled.png

Even my cacti is not running, I seek advice and help on how to solve and step by step of the process.

You may simply copy the icon from the plugin files and exlude this part from the patch

Thanks but I haven't understand you well. I managed to troubleshoot and cacti is running but now i want to get aggregate plugins, can you help any good suggestion...

Today, I advise to use PIA 2.9 instead. It includes all hooks implemented by the "old" patch.
If you wait a bit, you may want to install 087h along with PIA 3.0
