Fault in /lib/functions.php

Post by rjeppesen »

Hi
Platform: cacti 0.8.51a-win32 and Mysql4.0
After creating the database and pointing browser to http://localhost/cacti, when index.php is to be created I get note about undefined variable _SESSION in C:\Apache2\htdocs\cacti\lib\functions.php on line 239
Warning Cannot modify header information - headers allready sent by (output started at C:\Apache2\htdocs\cacti\lib\functions.php:239) in C:\Apache2\htdocs\cacti\install\index.php on line 217

The result is that User Login allways stays at the same window, clearing username and password fields when these are correct typed in. Otherwise it says "Bad username/P...."

I'm not strong on php! Does anyone know whats going one?

regards
Robert

It looks like you might be using a version of PHP older than 4.1. That or perhaps PHP's session support is disabled? I'm not exactly how you would do this in the php.ini file though.
