I am unable to retrieve any results from data queries. I am specifically referring to data queries with values specified with data input method of get snmp data (indexed). I am using SNMP V3 with SHA and AES. I currently have a graph template operating just fine over SNMP V3. The only difference I am able to detect is on the snmp node's side.
This is from the graph template and works as expected.

I am able to snmpwalk the box for the information with out issue. The query is for the UC Davis disk IO table (UCD-DISKIO-MIB). It appears from the logs that the data query is failing to do encryption. I have checked all the snmp boxes in the specifications of the data template, but that didn't seem to make much difference. When I run the query in verbose mode I get.
+ Running data query [10].
+ Found type = '3' [snmp query].
+ Found data query XML file at '/var/www/cacti/resource/snmp_queries/disk_io.xml'
+ XML file parsed ok.
+ Executing SNMP walk for list of indexes @ '.1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.13.15.1.1.1'

Any assistance is welcome. I can provide more information if necessary. Thanks.

Re: SPINE 0.8.7g and Data Queries
Hi!
I face to the same problem.
If I configured snmpV3 SHA/AES128. I get SNMP Error on Device configuration page.
The router reports the same problem:
Unknown Engine ID.
The graphing works fine.
The other devices with the setting snmpV3 SHA/DES has NO SNMP Error. So the initial query works fine.
Can anyone help?
Thanks, in advance,
Imre
