[solved] Issue with monitoring Hyper-V virtual machine

Hi all,

I have a bit of a wierd issue. I have setup Cacti and it is monitoring my network devices and some Win2k8 R2 servers successfully. However, when i try to monitor one of my Hyper-V Win2k8 virtual machines it does not work. I get "SNMP error". I have triple checked the snmp settings and made sure all firewalls are off. There is host connectivity so I am really stumped!

If anyone has any ideas please let me know

ignore this!

It turns out that the two vm's i have been using have additional IP's on the nics. i was using these ip's. If I use the definitive ip's it works fine
