GAPs on some Graphs

Post by andrepsnh »

Hello,

I have 174 hosts in Cacti. My cacti.log show me this:
SYSTEM STATS: Time:11.0946 Method:spine Processes:2 Threads:20 Hosts:174 HostsPerProcess:87 DataSources:1644 RRDsProcessed:2044

In some graphs there are gaps and not in others

what might be happening?

It might be for SNMP timeout. Change the SNMP timeout for the proper device from 500 to some other higher one.
Also switch from SNMP verions. If you use SNMP V1, then let's see if you can use SNMP V2 or not and solve your problem.

What is your platform ?!

The problem was in the "poller" in crontab. There was two crontabs, crontab -e and /etc/crond.d/cacti. I deactivated
crontab -e and now works fine.

Thank you.
